While I find Sundays to be considerably less productive than the weekdays, it’s important to me to be in a place I am free of distractions to get things done. Coffeeshops work well for writing or doing about 45 minutes of work, but anything that requires phone calls, regualar Internet or spreading out (pretty much everything I do), I prefer my office.

Today I brought the dog for company. Here’s Josie playing with a makeshift dog toy (a wine cork) in the hallway. There’s a reason they’re called “Man’s Best Friend.”
